Congratulations to Monique Crochet (BS ’98, MEd ’00) and Katherine Mabile (BS ’14, MEd ’21) on their new roles!
Nicholls State University has tapped Katherine Mabile as the new director of Career Services. Her skill set and leadership in Alumni Affairs makes her the ideal candidate for this restructured position going forward.
Katherine has served as director of Alumni Affairs for the past five years. Leading that organization through the difficulties of the COVID-19 epidemic and Hurricane Ida. Katherine has acquired the experience and a unique skill set to expand the focus of Career Services. Her leadership will result in innovative approaches to broaden Career Services’ mission to alumni, partnerships with regional businesses and industry, and integration of career learning through co-curricular experiences.
Monique Crochet will again assume the leadership role of Alumni Affairs, building upon the recent success experienced in membership engagement and alumni gift giving. As Executive Director of Alumni and External Affairs, Monique will continue to develop relationships with our alumni and community supporters. Leading into the university’s 75th anniversary in 2023, a campaign for a new alumni center will be spearheaded by Monique and Alumni Affairs.
