If you could give one piece of advice to current Nicholls students, what would it be?
Embrace your unique path as a student and trust that it does not need to look like anyone else’s. College is an opportunity to grow in so many ways- academically, personally, and professionally. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, whether it’s joining an organization, meeting new people, or even trying new food. Each opportunity can teach you something valuable and can help shape the person you are becoming! Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.
What inspired you to join the Nicholls Alumni Federation Board of Directors, and what excites you most about serving on the board?
Having the opportunity to engage with more than 75 years of fellow Nicholls Alumni and furthering our mission of keeping our alumni connected to our great university for a lifetime!

What inspired you to join the Nicholls Alumni Federation Board of Directors, and what excites you most about serving on the board?
I felt inspired because Nicholls has always felt like home to me. When I graduated in 2022, I wasn’t ready to give up that chapter of my life, so I felt led to continue at Nicholls to get my Masters Degree. I still wanted to stay close to my Nicholls Family, so what better way than to contribute as the President of the Cheer Alumni Chapter!

What inspired you to join the Nicholls Alumni Federation Board of Directors, and what excites you most about serving on the board?
The thing that inspired me the most when deciding to join the federation board, was the opportunity to give back to the school and community that gave me some of the best years of my life. Nicholls has shaped me into the person I am today, and gave me friends that have become family. Having the opportunity to serve the place that’s given me so much is an absolute honor.
