We need your help finding enthusiastic Colonel alumni who will bring new ideas and energy to the Alumni Federation Board of Directors. You are encouraged to nominate yourself or a fellow Nicholls alumna/alumnus for a spot on the board, as a dues-paying member. Serving as a board member is more than an honor; it’s an opportunity to help plan alumni events, promote your alma mater and guide the Nicholls Alumni Federation into the future.
Alumni Federation Board Members will be expected to:
- serve a full one-year term
- attend all board meetings (four annually)
- actively participate in at least two major alumni events (including the Awards for Excellence ceremony, Crawfish Boil and Golf Classic, and Tailgates)
- help sell tickets to alumni events
- help recruit new members to join the Alumni Federation
- participate on at least two Alumni Federation committees
- be willing to attend community events on behalf of the Nicholls Alumni Federation
- help promote Nicholls alumni through personal social media accounts
- bring new ideas and lots of enthusiasm to the board
