Tranika and Derrick started at Nicholls in the fall of 1997. She graduated in the fall of 2002 and Derrick in the spring of 2003. They met in the spring of 1998 at Ellender Hall when he and his friends visited Tranika and her roommate. We became good friends, but did not start dating until the spring of 2001. We became engaged in 2006 and married in 2011. Derrick and Tranika now have 3 kids ages ten, seven, and two. She works as a branch manager at Chase Bank. Derrick is a process technician at Mosiac Fertilizer. They currently live in Gray.
