COLONEL COUPLE

Jose Allan Brambila (BA ’14) & Jennifer Cinquemano Brambila (AS ’12, BS ‘13)

Allan, a history major with a minor in Geography, and Jennifer, a culinary arts major with a minor in business, have been together since they met during Allan’s first month of college in 2010, after realizing that they both lived in Zeringue Hall. Allan and Jennifer got married in March, 2016 on the first day of spring.

At Nicholls, Allan was part of the Nicholls Players, Cycling Team, Phi Alpha Theta, and the Marching Band. Jennifer was selected for culinary school in France by the John Folse Institute. Since leaving Nicholls in 2014, they lived in New Orleans for a couple of months. The couple then moved to Lafayette when Allan went to grad school at UL Lafayette, then to the DC region of Maryland, Joshua Tree, California, and finally Kansas City, MO.

Allan has worked for several National Parks, which include Jean Lafitte National Historical Park in Louisiana, the C&O Canal National Historical Park in Hagerstown, Maryland, and Joshua Tree National Park in Joshua Tree, California. He ended up leaving the National Park Service and is currently working for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service, an agency within Homeland Security. Jennifer has worked for several restaurants and bakeries in New Orleans, Lafayette, and Maryland, and currently works for Citigroup.

Allan and Jennifer have a little girl on the way who they plan to name Madeleine. They also have two puppies that they love and adore, named Franky (a pug) and Bonnie (a lab).
