Our #ColonelCouple for today is Richard (BS ‘16, MS ‘18) and Emma (BS ‘19) Kennedy Grabert. Richard and his wife Emma are both Nicholls graduates. Richard graduated from Nicholls with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016 and a Master of Science in Marine and Environmental Biology in 2018. Emma graduated from Nicholls in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. They are both proud Nicholls alumni and fans of the university! They are also new parents to a wonderful future Colonel named Samuel Thomas. Richard currently works for the Louisiana Department of Health, and Emma is a 3rd-grade teacher of social science and math at Acadian Elementary. They met at Nicholls through Greek Life in the fall of 2014, and they were married on January 11, 2019. Both Richard’s parents, his sister and her fiancé, and Emma’s sister and her wife are all Nicholls graduates as well, so being Nicholls fans and supporters is a family tradition!
