David, from Raceland, Louisiana, and Keli Dantin, a Thibodaux native, met in Costa Rica on an MBA Study Abroad Program with Dr. Premeaux. It was the summer of 2009. Keli had already graduated with her MBA that fall and David graduated with his MBA a year later. They were married in 2013. Currently, Keli is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Shamrock Energy Solutions in Houma. David is the Director of Operations at Odyssea Marine in Larose. They have two children, Sam who is two and a half, and a four-month old, Luke. Keli notes that the koozies for their wedding said, “It all started over a beer in Costa Rica!”
