Gary and Pamela Clement met at Nicholls in the fall of 1971 at a Nicholls football game. Gary was an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. They have been married 42 years and have two children. Their daughter, Melanie C. Becnel (BA ’03, M. Ed. ’06, plus 30 ’09), a Nicholls grad multiple times, also earned a doctorate in education from SELU in 2011. Their son, Matthew Clement, attended Nicholls from ’08-09. He is now the inventory and sales manager at Liquid Bulk Sales in St. Gabriel. Gary and Pamela also have two grandchildren. Pamela is a retired Social Studies teacher from Jefferson Parish (33 years) and Gary is employed by Kleinpeter Farms Dairy as a Sales Manager.
